To round out our manners section, let’s take a little quiz.  For each of the following scenarios, give the correct response.

1) When the waitress brings your drinks, say…

A) “Thank you.”

B) “About time!”

2) If you didn’t understand what someone said, say…

A) “Excuse me?”

B) “What?  What?  I can’t hear a word you’re saying.”

3) If someone gives you a compliment, respond with…

A) “Thank you.”

B) “Don’t I know it!”

4) If you walk in front of someone, say…

A) “Excuse me.”

B) “You’re in my way.”

5) If someone thanks you for doing something nice, respond with…

A) “You’re welcome.”

B) “Well, you can be sure it won’t happen again.”
